Michael Alan Sears is the Managing Director of Sealeys Estate Agents. He has worked in the property industry for over 25 years commencing his career with an agency in London Docklands in the early 1990s. Michael is a fully qualified member of the NAEA (National Association of Estate Agents) and ARLA (Association of Residential Letting Agents). In addition Michael is also a qualified Surveyor and member of SAVA (the Surveyors and Valuers Accreditation)
Michael lives in Gravesham and is a keen supporter of Ebbsfleet United Football Club, where he served as a Director for eight years and Vice-Chairman for four years. Michael’s spare time pursuits include worldwide travel (it helps his sister lives in New Zealand) – he even met his wife Laura whilst on a trip to Peru, the Amazon and the Galapagos Islands! Michael is a keen supporter of local charities including being a trustee of the local charity ‘Walk Tall’.
Michael and Laura share their home with Molly the Trailhound and Marigold and Linda the Chickens!
Lynn joined Sealeys as a Negotiator within our Commercial and Residential Sales Departments in 2013. Now solely working within our ever expanding Commercial Department, her duties include accompanying viewings, receiving offers and assisting commercial clients in lease preparation. Before working for Sealeys Lynn was a Mortgage Advisor for fourteen years and previous to that a trained Chef (staff can vouch for the very high standard of her baking!!).
Lynn lives in the Gravesham area within the village of Meopham. She loves spending time with her daughters and two grandchildren especially helping her younger daughter with her textile design business. If she has any time left Lynn also enjoys reading, holidays to Cyprus and Portugal and supporting Charlton Football Club.
Lesley is our Lettings Manager – she joined the company in 2006 and has risen through the ranks to her current position. Her role includes managing the lettings team, rental market appraisals, marketing properties and accompanying viewings. Before joining Sealeys Lesley was a retail manager at a London branch of the fashion chain Dorothy Perkins.
Lesley lives in Gravesham and enjoys spending time with her family, watching box sets and keeping busy in the garden. Lesley is an Arsenal FC fan despite the fact that her family follow, Crystal Palace and Chelsea!
Catherine is the Senior Administrator at Sealeys and has been with us since November 2005. Catherine carries out all of the administration for our sales department as well as personal assistant duties for our Managing Director. Before joining Sealeys Catherine worked in educational administration including roles at the University of London.
Catherine lives in Gravesend but grew up in the village of Hartley near Longfield. She is passionate about the creative arts and is a regular visitor to art exhibitions in London. Her other hobbies include photography, embroidery, baking and being a member of a book club.
She is the proud owner of three Labradors and one comic genius cat. She takes part in fundraising events several times a year for animal charities. She can go from normal to dog bore in 60 seconds … don’t say we didn’t warn you!
Margaret is Sealeys’ Lettings Administrator and has worked in the property industry since 2004 including working at Ward and Partners. Margaret’s responsibilities include processing rent payments, preparation of tenancy agreements, arranging rent guarantee insurance and safety certificates for Landlords and property marketing. Before working in the property industry Margaret was the Office Administrator at Ebbsfleet United Football Club.
Margaret is local and very familiar with the area as she has lived in Gravesend since 1986. Margaret enjoys spending time with her family – she has three daughters and is a very proud mother and grandmother. Margaret has a passion for travel especially to destinations in North America (this has earnt her the office nickname of Judith Chalmers!).
Michelle has been the Operations and Finance Manager at Sealeys since 2010. She is responsible for all aspects of system design and implementation as well as managing the human resources and business finances. Michelle trained as an accountant in a multi-national retail organisation in London and subsequently ran her own book-keeping and business planning business before joining Sealeys.
Michelle lives locally to the Gravesend area and outside of work she is a keen sportswoman. She is passionate about netball and belongs to several netball clubs, playing a number of times a week. She also partakes in circuit training sessions and attends the gym regularly. Michelle has taken her interest in health and fitness to the next level and in her personal time has achieved a qualification in sport massage and injury treatment; she is always willing to try out the skills she has learnt on any willing (and brave!) members of the Sealeys team.
Debbie joined the Sealeys team in 2016 as our Sales Co-ordinator, she is responsible for arranging viewings, agreeing sales and making sure they go all the way to completion. Now as the Sales Manager, she is responsible for the Sales Team performance as well. Before joining Sealeys, Debbie was a full time mum to two girls. Previously she was a Financial Services Trainer for Black Horse, part of the Lloyds group and trained financial advisers all over the south east.
Debbie lives locally and enjoys days out on the back of her husband’s motorbike, walking her dog and cooking. She loves travelling and has had her best holidays in Egypt and Kenya.
Andrew Tustin became our dedicated Property Manager in 2016. He is responsible for all aspects of property management on behalf of our Landlords; including regularly inspecting all properties, dealing with repair issues and acting as liaison between tenants and landlords on tenancy issues. In coming to us he has brought 16 years experience in property, mainly within the Residential Lettings sector.
He moved to Rochester two years ago from his hometown of Orpington. Whilst he enjoys working in a busy Estate Agents environment outside the office he enjoys a quieter time spending it with family, although he does enjoy socialising and seeing friends, fine dining, theatre and the arts!
Natasha Thynne has been our Commercial Assistant since May 2017. Natasha has previous experience in legal practice but has decided to use her experience with a different approach, enjoying working in the commercial department, supporting colleagues with different types of clients/properties.
Outside of Sealeys Estate Agents, Natasha is mother to a son, most of her activities are to ensure they get out and about keeping active by visiting parks/amusement places, sometimes Natasha enjoys it more than he does! Natasha is family orientated and enjoys spending time with all her family.
Shirley has been working in our Residential Sales department as a Viewings Assistant since January 2017. She has many years of sales experience selling everything from clothing to software for schools. She is now coupling her passion for property with her tenacious sales approach, to assist in the matching of applicants to their ideal homes.
At home Shirley enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and wider family and going to bingo.
Diane is the newest member to the Sealeys team, bringing a wealth of life experience from an international marketing career in the aerospace and defence industry spanning 20 years. After living in both Australia and France, where she perfected her fluency in French Diane is now responsible for appraising our residential sales properties, so be sure to watch out for her.
Outside of work Diane enjoys travelling the world with her husband Paul, fine dining, arts and literature. She lives in Kent and for past few years has been learning all about interior design while revamping and renovating their family home.
